Joe Horn's Career Could Be Done

The Ft. Worth Star Telegram reports the Dallas Cowboys, badly in need of another wide receiver, are the latest team to suggest to Joe Horn that he no longer fits that definition.  Since the Saints gave up on Horn three years ago he has averaged a paltry 525 yards a season. As emotional as it might have been for Saints fans to see a longtime productive receiver go, looks like New Orleans was dead on in its assessment of what Horn had left.

The Cowboys also are concerned about Horn's at times volatile personality. T.O. and The Artist Formerly Known as Pacman Jones are distractions, but they're distractions that can still change a game with one play. Joe Horn, not so much anymore. It looks there are two options for Horn: retirement or a long-term, big money deal with the Oakland Raiders. There's no washed up player Al Davis won't take a flyer on, right?
