Week 14 in the NFL gave us upsets involving supposed Super Bowl contenders, plenty of blow-outs and even a failed extra point. I'm not going to talk about Favre, so go elsewhere for that story. Dude's old. Get over it.
(3-10) Buffalo Bills 13
(5-8) Cleveland Browns 6
So all of that slack Eric Mangini had garnered after his tough gritty victories over good teams? It all went out the window when he lost to the Bills on Sunday, only putting up six points. Jake Delhomme is as crappy as he ever was, even though he’s not being asked to throw all that much. Seriously. He sucks.

(3-10) Detroit Lions 7
(8-5) Green Bay Packers 3
That’s what it looks like when you lose your Pro Bowl quarterback. For the Packers, a second Aaron Rodgers concussion could not have come at a worse time. This loss puts them behind the eight-ball in the playoff picture, much less the division race. Detroit gutted out a close win, which is something they never do. Well played boys.
(10-3) Pittsburgh Steelers 23
(2-11) Cincinnati Bengals 7
This was one ugly game. Pittsburgh only scored nine offensive points on the day but still dominated their division “rivals” thanks to fantastic play from Troy Polamalu and the defense. They look ready to secure the number two seed in the AFC. For Cincy, losing ten straight is unacceptable. Blow this team up.
(8-5) Tampa Bay Buccaneers 17
(5-8) Washington Redskins 16
Can’t even get an extra point off! The ‘Skins deserved to lose this game. (At least the special teams anyway.) Don’t look now, but the Bucs could sneak into the playoffs… just don’t expect them to beat anybody.
(7-6) Miami Dolphins 10
(9-4) New York Jets 6
Have the Jets been figured out? Is Mark Sanchez any good? The answers to these questions and more in the next episode of “These Are Our Jets!” But honestly, the Jets are slipping off the precipice here. After being resoundingly beaten last week they needed to come out and whip the Dolphins, but instead they rolled over and lost to a QB who only completed five passes. Five. Zoinks.

(7-6) San Diego Chargers 31
(8-5) Kansas City Chiefs 0
Uh… Kansas City really needs Matt Cassel. Like a lot. Getting drubbed by the Chargers is more than enough proof of that. San Diego climbs in the standings while taking the Chiefs downs a notch. Also: Brodie Coyle sucks.
(9-4) Philadelphia Eagles 30
(4-9) Dallas Cowboys 27
Now THAT was a game. Though in spite of the score, those Cowboys just don’t move the ball without Tony Romo under center. I don’t care about Kitna’s accuracy when he’s only throwing five yard passes all day. Eventually you have to stretch the field as an offense or defenders will begin to clamp down just as the Eagles did. And I could care less that Tashard Choice went to get Mike Vick's autograph after the game. Just because they lost doesn't mean they needed to be decimated and depressed like their fans are. It's just a game yo. Though DeSean Jackson is an ass. (A fast one though.)
