xson and GM Gar Forman have struck back in the LeBron sweepstakes, signing free agent power forward Carlos Boozer to a 5, year, $80 million contract according to ESPN.

The Jazz basically started a bench squad for the majority of the beginning of the season without Carlos Boozer and Deron Williams in the starting mix. Williams came back eventually from an ankle injury while Boozer just had arthroscopic knee surgery 12 days ago.

Lakers fans will tell you that the Lakers haven’t hit their stride. That Kobe isn’t playing the same way that he was in the first three series. That he isn’t moving the ball. That he’s taking too many bad shots. They say that Lamar Odom is struggling through nerves and that Pau Gasol is playing soft.

He’s like the Yin to Kwame’s Yang. And in the overcrowded West, where the likes of Carlos Boozer, Yao Ming, Amare Stoudemire, Tim Duncan, and Tyson Chandler play, a Yang is sorely needed.
