Dwight Howard

26 August 2008

He led Spain with 22 points, 3 of which came on an-and-one dunk on Dwight Howard. For anyone who hasn’t seen it, check it out on YouTube. I was texting my cousin about how dope Wade was playing when Rudy threw down that jam. Immediately, my next text was: “RUDY!!!!!!”

Then, check out how well KG tore up Rasheed Wallace last year.

Or, look up how old Dwight Howard is. Sure, the Pistons have been able to keep him in check, but, dude’s so young…the Pistons, they’re getting old. Howard will figure it out, and when he does, the Pistons will need a big body to compensate. Kwame—who is 26.

ic’s first two playoff games against the Toronto Raptors, one thing has become obvious:  Dwight Howard is playing like a man amongst boys.  In his first two post-season appearances, Howard has tallied near unprecedented numbers:  25 points, 22 boards and five highlight-reel blocks in Game One, followed up with an equally impressive 29 and 20 in Game Two.  For the series, he’s made 20 of his 30 shot attempts.  His consecutive 20/20 playoff performances equal those of recent, all-time greats:  Barkley, O’Neal, Duncan and Garnett.

The Lakers are 23-11 right now. Everyone is hyping Bynum as beast 1A to Dwight Howard. The whispers that the Lakeshow is a legit contender have gone from sweet nothings to banshee-like shrieks. Just ask Suns, Jazz and Hornets fans. Kobe is sharing. D-Fish is leading. Odom is balling. So why, oh why am I saying to keep the $9 million, bust-of-a-draft-pick, injury-prone, stone-handed, noose named Kwame Brown?
