and see if his team can get over that hump. Favre is in a relatively weak division. The Lions are always disappointing. The Vikings have talent, but they lack a viable quarterback. And the Bears are probably weaker this year compared to last, as their quarterback situation is unstable, and due to the loss of both Muhammad and Berrian at the receiving core (though Marty Booker was acquired today). The NFL is very unpredictable, but one would have to imagine that the Packers have a very good shot, at the very least, of being a wild card team. And who won the Superbowl this season? The Giants, a wildcard team.
