Matt Leinart

ome explosiveness at the line of scrimmage or one of these 2009 draft picks will be out of a job.

Matt Leinart vs. Derek Anderson: Battle of the Crap

Normally I don't even address the other team in preseason, but this will be an interesting angle to keep your eye on. Supposed starter Leinart has this last game to impress his coaches or the steaming pile of Derek Anderson will be starting day one for the Cardinals. I doubt Leinart will rise to the occasion.

s division, but they'll be good enough to upset the next team...

Arizona Cardinals

Hey Matt Leinart... are you ready for some football? No? Too bad, because you're going to get it. With the retirement of Kurt Warner, Leinart now steps into the starting quarterback role of a team whose run at division titles is in flux. His back-up? Derek Anderson. *vomit* Larry Fitzgerald sprained his MCL in the first preseason game, but he should be ready for week one. Early Doucet will fill part of the void left by Anquan Boldin's trade to Baltimore, but make no mistake: this won't look like Kurt Warner's Cardinals. Running back Beanie Wells will see a ton of carries, backed up by Tim Hightower. Coach Ken Wisenhunt won't get happy with Leinart at quarterback. We’ve got the standout from USC, Matt Leinart v.s the longtime veteran Kurt Warner. In my opinion Leinart has not performed to the level of a franchise quarterback. He’s just not ready to be a starter in this league and many people may disagree with me, but just watch him play. He is not an NFL level quarterback, it looks like he’s still playing college ball to me. Kurt Warner is just plain better then Leinart. He’s obviously got the experience edge, but his arm strength is better, his decision making is better. Kurt Warner is just a better football player then
