Continue reading "Cutler out-duels Romo as Bears win in Dallas"
Miles Austin

Moore picking off two Tony Romo passes. The first came after Charles Tillman hit Miles Austin and caused him to lose the ball right into Moore's waiting hands. That turnover led to the Bears' first field goal, in spite of Cutler taking multiple hits early in the game as Dallas relied on the blitz to get pressure.

Zack Bowman will have some trouble with Miles Austin (as everyone does), but he won't be under-sized and will certainly get help over the top. Charles Tillman should get plenty of Roy Williams, who can't out-run anybody. Dez Bryant is the wildcard of the group, and could take advantage of D.J. Moore. Tillman could see him a bit as well. Where the Bears will see problems is in covering tight end Jason Witten. He's bigger than their safeties and faster than their linebackers and catches almost everything he sees. Still, if the Bears can keep everyone else under wraps, letting Witten go won't hurt as much.

Receiver Miles Austin had a break-out season, firmly supplanting Roy Williams as the number one wide-out. Now Williams could be ousted by rookie Dez Bryant, who after missing almost a year of football looks poised for a big year.

ever been better, bolstered by a three-headed running attack fronted by the bruising Marion Barber. Miles Austin is a game-changer at receiver, Jason Witten is an-all purpose and All-Pro tight end and Roy Williams is finally starting to mesh in this Dallas offense. The real strength of this Cowboy team is Wade Philips' defense. DeMarcus Ware, Jay Ratliff and Anthony Spencer have been harassing QB's all season, but they have a special affinity for hitting McNabb.

Tony Romo’s one pass to Miles Austin went for 49 yards and the last score the Cowboys needed. One thing still puzzles me though, why was everyone surprise when Roy Williams got out of line and said something worth of a douchebag? He was doing that in Detroit FOR YEARS. Did no one notice because no one was watching the Lions? To me, he was worse than T.O. Seriously. Anyways, Donovan McNabb had an off night, with some ugly ground balls and Andy Reid mismaaged his time-outs. The Eagles till can't make a 3rd and 1. Still, they have enough playmakers to snag a wildcard sport.

crap, someone is looking like T.O.’s replacement in Dallas, and it isn’t Roy Williams. Miles Austin snagged six Tony Romo throws for a whopping 171 yards and two scores. Romo has found his stride these past two games, this time leading his team to a win over a solid Falcons squad. Don’t look now, but at 4-2 these Cowpokes aren’t out of the NFC East mix yet. With the same 4-2 record, the Falcons are in danger of falling behind the undefeated Saints.

Wade Philips needs to thank Tony Romo and Miles Austin for saving his job. Austin’s 10 catches for 250 yards was a Cowboy franchise record and could not have come at a more significant moment with Roy Williams on the bench. While winless, Kansas City is at least keeping things close.
