Formerly known as the "Black and Blue" division, the NFC North is now the "Air and Space" division, with four legitimate quarterbacks and each team's ability (on paper anyway) to score bundles of points. Will Brett Favre and the Vikes repeat as division champs or will the Pack catch up with them?

In the 2009 NFL, there are more teams at the bottom of the scrap heap than I can ever remember. Three (Tampa, Tennessee, St. Louis) are still winless, and another three (Detroit, Cleveland, Kansas City) have only managed one victory. It’s not just that these teams are bad; they’ve been downright awful this season. That’s why the Bears should (note I said should) have an easy day this Sunday when they welcome in the Cleveland Browns.

It seems that John Swofford, the coordinator of the BCS did not really enjoy his time in front of Congress as some of them did not have kind words for him. Many things such as BS instead of BCS came out of their mouths fueling the fire what many college football fans are feeling about this system that we have to pick a National Champion. For the longest time I was for a playoff format, but I have thought a lot about it and I do agree a little bit with John Swofford, but not totally.
