Plaxico Burress – In case you didn’t hear already, Burress shot himself in the leg with a firearm in a New York City club last season. He was unable to return for the rest of the year, which caused his Giants’ offensive production to drop significantly. Without his big-play threat, Eli Manning could not overcome Philadelphia’s stout defense, falling in the playoffs.

Plaxico Burress was fined, suspended (without pay) for the remainder of the season (including the play-offs), and put on the non-football injury list by the Giants. His days as a member of the New York Giants is numbered…and that’s the least of his worries!

Plaxico Burress posted $100,000 bail yesterday. He is now back out on the streets until March 31, 2009…when he goes back in front of the Judge! Unfortunately for Plaxico, Goodell won’t take as long to render judgment! Plax…just stay inside your house! Shop online if you get bored!

3. Amani Toomer and Plaxico Burress: Toomer’s 38 yard catch with the acute awareness of his position was great! Buress scored the winning TD and you could just see the overwhelming feeling of gratitude hit him.
