After winning 2 straight against the Twins the Tigers entered Cleveland feeling alot better about themselves. Game one of the two game series featured defending Cy Young award winner CC Sabathia facing one of the most potent offenses in recent history, or maybe of all time. The Indians jumped on top 1-0 on a first inning home run by David Dellucci but it was all Tigers after that. The Tigers lit Sabathia up for 9 runs in 4 innings and sent CC to the locker room being booed by the home town crowd. Miguel Cabrera continued his recent hot streak by going 4 for 6 with a HR and 5 RBIs. The game also featured a 1 hitter through 6 innings by Armando Galarraga who picked up his first win as a Tiger. Game 2 of the series is tomorrow night in Cleveland and features struggling Tigers ace Justin Verlander going against Fausto Carmona.

In the two game series the struggling trio went a combined 8 for 22 with 3HRs and 7RBIs. The Tigers open a two game series in Cleveland tomorrow and it should be a good indicator of where both teams are at this early in the season.
