Is Chad Johnson really all that?

Lately, I have been hearing talk shows and ESPN talk about Chad Johnson and his problems and emotions. Let's put this is prospective. Chad Johnson is a good Wide Reciever, noone can argue with that, but he will never be the best. Why you ask? I'll tell you why. He complains too much, he talks about himself in the third person, and he thinks he is better than every wide reciever out there. Let me tell you, back in the day, did you ever hear Steve Largent whine and complain? How about Jerry Rice? No you did not (and if you dissagree, you are not paying attention). These two recievers were the best in the game period! To this day, there has not been a reciever who has even come close to the talent that Steve Largent and Jerry Rice had.

I was a wide reciever in Jr. High and High School. I was good enough to be All State, and considered one of the best Wide Recievers in the state of Washington (back in the day). I knew this, but did not have a big head about it. Now mind you, it was just high school and not the NFL. But it is all about the principle. It seems that if someone considers you to be the best in your position, that it gives you the right to complain about everything that does not go your way.

My advice? Shut your mouth and play the game. If you have an opinion, write a freakin book! This is why Terrell Owens was bounced from team to team, because he couldn't keep his big trap shut and do his job. He had good quarterbacks behind him and all he could complain about is how he didn't get the ball on every play. Hey T.O.? If you knew how to catch a ball more than complaining, you would get the ball more! Same with Chad Johnson, you are not that good of a reciever to where you think you have the respect to complain about anything! Take a page out of Jerry Rice's book and you will become a better reciever!
